Vision inspection is an integral part of any manufacturing process. The IS-300 vision inspection system is designed to deliver a high standard of inspection to compliment V-TEK’s TM-50 tape and reel system.
The addition of the IS-300 not only enhances the quality control of product, but it also helps to minimise operator intervention and allow operator time to be allocated to more resourceful tasks.
The IS Vision Kit can be ordered in multiple configurations to cover the various needs of your inspection task. Not only will the system check to make sure parts are in tape and in the correct orientation, but the vision system can also carry out various other tasks:
- Mark Inspection
- Checks that the part is placed in the wrong pocket
- Orientation
- Checks that the part is placed in the right way round
- Colour Check
- Able to recognise colours, such as ink dots, to ensure the right colour is used
With an optional data module, it’s possible to obtain full traceability by storing either images or data for the failures or all inspections. The data module can be set up to output to a network drive, a USB, or a local hard drive.
Customization is also available with the data module allowing customer-specific interface for a variety of options including data input, job summary output, and printing.
The compact design around the camera and mounting offer adjustable positioning of the camera, the overall design makes it easy install on TM-50’s in the field.
